Resource One Credit Union Donates and Supports Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund
Resource One makes a donation and asks members and employees to help support the Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund.
DALLAS, TX (March 14, 2022)
Resource One Credit Union joins other credit unions in supporting the Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund. The Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund, created by the World Council of Credit Unions and the Worldwide Foundation for Credit Unions, is designed to help to help both employees and members of Ukrainian credit unions that have been displaced during this time.
Funds sent to Ukraine’s credit unions will be used to support short-term needs and any long-term challenges they may face in the future.
Resource One donated $6,500, a total of 10¢ in honor of every Resource One Member. In addition, Resource One employees are also helping contribute to the displacement fund by personally donating. Lastly, Resource One has reached out to its members, urging them to consider donating and impacting those in Ukraine relying on credit unions to help them recover and rebuild in the aftermath of Russia’s attacks.
The Ukrainian Credit Union Displacement Fund is currently accepting donations by text, credit card, directly from bank accounts, or Google Pay.
