Resource One Credit Union and A New Direction Credit Union announce approval to merge.

DALLAS, TX (September 16, 2022)

Resource One Credit Union (R1CU) and A New Direction Credit Union (ANDCU) announce that they have received regulatory approval to merge, effective August 1, 2022. More than 2,700 members of ANDCU are joining Resource One Credit Union’s 68,000 members, and ANDCU’s branches and ATMs will be added to the current Resource One Credit Union branch and ATM network.

“It is our honor to welcome A New Direction Credit Union members and employees to Resource One Credit Union. Resource One members will have access to an additional branch conveniently located in the North Dallas area. This merger helps place our already strong credit union in a better position to serve all our members in the coming years,” states Mary Beth Spuck, President/CEO of Resource One Credit Union.

Resource One and A New Direction will work together in the following months to convert ANDCU members and anticipate the merger to be completed in late 2022.

The merger is estimated to increase Resource One’s assets to over $765 million, and they will have over 70,000 members.
